It has been a varied and enjoyable programme at Mother’s Union this year. There have been some very interesting talks including Walled Gardens; The Samaritans; Village History. We visited Litchfield Cathedral in June, which was enjoyed by all and we enjoyed two lunches out as we didn’t have our other usual summer outing. We also enjoyed several Deanery events, finishing with the Advent Service at All Saints. Sadly we lost two of our members during the year.
If anybody would like to join us at our Mother’s Union meetings we meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 2pm in the Methodist Church, everyone is most welcome and even gentlemen can come! It would be lovely to have some more members.
